PIMCO Foundation Excellence Awards
In addition, outside of the grants program, three organizations received
surprise PIMCO Foundation Excellence Awards during 2008. This year's awards
focused on recognizing outstanding volunteers in fundraising. Grants were
made to the following organizations on behalf of the award recipients.

The PIMCO Foundation also announced that their window for accepting grant
applications for next year will open on May 15th and will close on July
15th. The PIMCO Foundation accepts grants nationally for US-based
nonprofit organizations. Grant applications for 2009 will be available
starting April 2008 at www.pimco.com.
