CaseCentral's 'Case in Point' Cartoon Series Pokes Fun at the Disorder in the Court of eDiscovery
New Cartoon Series Illustrates the Lighter Side of eDiscovery for Weekly Distribution; Contest Asks Legal and IT World to Provide Funniest eDiscovery Moments

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - October 20, 2008) - ACC Annual Meeting - CaseCentral, the leader in
secure, on-demand eDiscovery software for corporate counsel and law firms
to simplify and take control of eDiscovery, today unveiled a new, first of
its kind, eDiscovery cartoon series, 'Case in Point.'
'Case in Point' illustrates the humor in the often confusing and sometimes
absurd communications and dynamics that occur every day between the legal
and technical professionals who are responsible for implementing and
managing eDiscovery. From lawyers making requests that make IT staffers
cringe, to IT staffers not knowing the difference between legal torts and
pastry tarts, 'Case in Point' will shine a comical spotlight on all
participants in the eDiscovery ecosystem.
"Getting IT and Legal to communicate and work together to address their
eDiscovery challenges has oftentimes been jokingly referred to as a
'shotgun marriage between strangers after a boozy night in the Vegas
casinos'," said Vivian Tero, Program Manager for Compliance Infrastructure,
IDC. "And, as with any successful marriage, the couple has to keep a sense
of humor to make things work. Some could also benefit from sessions with
their marriage counselors, which would be their records management team and
eDiscovery consultants."
As part of the launch, CaseCentral is announcing a contest inviting anyone
from the expansive eDiscovery realm -- lawyers, IT staff, judges, service
providers, paralegals, writers and consultants -- to submit their own
humorous experience or a scenario they find particularly funny. The contest
starts this week at the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Annual
Meeting, where attendees are encouraged to enter a drawing for one of three
signed, inaugural 'Case in Point' cartoons at CaseCentral's booth #606 on
the main exhibit floor or CaseCentral's hospitality suite, #206 on the
second floor. Participants may submit cartoon ideas online at
www.casecentral.com/caseinpoint/idea for consideration. Winners will see
their idea turned into a cartoon and receive a $50 gift certificate.
"'Case in Point' turns a comical eye to the commonly dry and bland
day-to-day world of eDiscovery," said Steve d'Alencon, Chief Marketing
Officer at CaseCentral. "Given today's global economic situation and the
existing complexities of eDiscovery, CaseCentral wants to provide a
humorous rendition of the most quizzical and frustrating eDiscovery
scenarios people experience so we can share a laugh and embrace the subtle
humor we encounter regularly in the world of eDiscovery. We encourage all
participants to have fun with this and offer their most creative ideas."
CaseCentral recently announced the third version of its on-demand
eDiscovery review platform, which is the first multi-case, multi-party
eDiscovery review platform with process analytics. The third version

case or multiple cases, across any number of law firms and other parties,
