HRO Buyers Group to Honor Contributions to HR Transformation and Outsourcing at HRO Summit

Record-Number HR Practitioners and Senior Executives Descend Upon the Conference to Gain Insight and Gather Information to Help With 2009 Planning and Buying Decisions


WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - October 21, 2008) - The HROA today announced that the Buyers Groups for HRO Large Market and Middle Market will recognize significant contributions to the practice of HR transformation and outsourcing on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the annual HRO Summit, October 21-23, 2008 at the Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa, Florida.

A record-number of HR practitioners and senior executives are registered to attend the inaugural conference to gain insight and gather information that will help them make their plans and buying decisions for 2009. The Summit is the world's only event that focuses exclusively on the practical needs of HR practitioners in multi-process HRO relationships.

HROA's Buyer Groups will honor excellence in innovation at the Summit's Buyers Groups Honors. One person or company will be selected from three categories. The full membership of the Buyers Groups was eligible to vote. The categories include:

--  Honored Colleague - An individual who has made a significant
    contribution to an individual buyer company and/or the buying community as
    a whole and helped advance the state and practice of HR transformation and
    outsourcing.
--  Respected Organization - An organization that has made a significant
    contribution to an individual buyer company and/or the buying community as
    a whole and helped advance the state and practice of HR transformation and
    outsourcing.
--  Valued Contribution - A set of individuals or organizations for a
    specific contribution they have made to an individual buyer company and/or
    the buying community as a whole and helped advance the state and practice
    of HR transformation and outsourcing.
