Cooley Names Lynn Kirk Chief Marketing Officer

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - November 4, 2008) - Cooley Godward Kronish LLP announced today
that Lynn Kirk has joined the firm as Chief Marketing Officer. Kirk is a
leading legal marketing executive with more than 18 years of global
marketing and business development experience. She will be based in
Cooley's Palo Alto office.

Kirk was previously CMO at Heller Ehrman LLP. Prior to Heller, she served
as joint global CMO at DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary, and CMO at Gray Cary
Ware & Freidenrich LLP, from 1995 until 2004.
