Colonel David W. Brown (Ret.) Joins AtHoc as Director of Operations, U.S. Army
28-Year Veteran to Lead Growth Strategy Into Department of the Army

notification systems, today announced the appointment of Colonel David
W. Brown, U.S. Army (Ret.), to direct AtHoc's continued growth into the
U.S. Army. Brown, who has more than 28 years of Army experience as an
infantryman, was the former Director of Theater Strategy in the Department
of Military Strategy, Planning and Operations at the U.S. Army War College.
Brown's primary focus will be to increase AtHoc's penetration into the
Department of the Army, helping them meet their emergency notification
needs at military facilities and installations across all geographic
regions.

Brown's military service includes serving in many high-ranking posts
domestically, overseas and in theater. Highlights of Brown's past
assignments include serving as: the Deputy Chief of Staff for V Corps, U.S.
Army Europe; Deputy Chief of Staff of CJTF-7; the Chief of Operations for V
Corps where he participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom; and a Country
Program Director of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.

Brown has earned numerous awards and decorations including the Defense

Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal with three Oak
Leaf Clusters, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation
Medal, the Army Achievement Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, the
Humanitarian Service Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.
Brown earned a Master of Science in civil engineering from the Georgia
Institute of Technology, a Masters in strategic studies from the Army War
College and a Bachelor of Science in engineering from West Point.
