Togo's Very Successful "1970s Flashback Wednesdays" -- Two More Weeks to Raise Funds

Two Weeks Left to Support Togo's Fundraiser for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - November 12, 2008) - Togo's Eateries, Inc., purveyor of delicious, handcrafted sandwiches that are freshly prepared for people on the go, today announced the two-week mark to its upcoming successful completion on November 19th of the 1970s Flashback Wednesdays Fundraiser supporting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Since October 1, participating Togo's locations have been rolling back one 6" regular sandwich to the original 1970s price of $1.99. With only two weeks left, Togo's continues to raise money for the JDRF. Throughout the past six weeks, Togo's has been selling record-breaking numbers of their fundraiser sandwiches and have raised a generous amount for the charity. Togo's and JDRF thank everyone who supported the fundraiser.

"This was a monumental achievement for Togo's. We have had the opportunity to give back to the community in two ways, through rolled-back sandwiches to all of our customers, and by donating to one of our favorite charities, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation," said Tony Gioia, Chairman and CEO of Togo's Eateries, Inc. "Thank you for all the support you've shown over the past six weeks. We hope to still see you these next two Wednesdays and for many more years to come."

About Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

JDRF, the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 (juvenile) diabetes research worldwide, was founded in 1970 by the parents of children with juvenile diabetes -- a disease which strikes children suddenly, makes them insulin-dependent for life, and carries the constant threat of devastating complications. Since inception, JDRF has provided more than $1 billion in direct funding to diabetes research. More than 85 percent of JDRF's expenditures directly support research and research-related education. JDRF's mission is constant: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. For more information, visit the JDRF web site at www.jdrf.org or call 1-800-533-CURE.
