Sectra and Synthetic MR extend cooperation through distribution agreement

The IT and medical company Sectra and Synthetic MR AB, which develops analysis
and imaging methods based on synthetic MRI (Magnet Resonance Imaging), have
signed a distribution agreement for Synthetic MR AB's software-based technology
for significantly improved patient flow and analysis of MR examinations.

In accordance with the agreement, Sectra will distribute Synthetic MR's
software, SyMRI Suite, as a plug-in in its PACS system (Picture Archiving
Communication System).

“With Synthetic MR's software as part of our PACS system, we will significantly
increase not only the efficiency of the actual MR examinations, but also the
effectiveness of the radiologists, through enhanced possibilities for
identifying pathological tissue,” says Torbjörn Kronander, President of Sectra's
medical business. “The agreement with SyntheticMR strengthens Sectra's offering
in MR and gives us an advantage in a rapidly expanding market.”

“As a result of the distribution agreement, we are deepening the cooperation
that we initiated with Sectra nearly a year ago,” says Marcel Warntjes,
President of SyntheticMR. “Sectra is world-leading in its area and I am very
pleased that we will gain access in this manner to Sectra's network, marketing
and sales team. For SyntheticMR, the agreement is an important step in our
commercialization process.”
