The SYSTAIC Group has concluded final agreements on the sale of the Spanish
solar power plants with Eurovoltaic and an end-investor. The plants are
located near the Spanish city of Córdoba and were completed in the third
quarter of 2008. Today, the ownership of all SYSTAIC solar power plants
which were connected to the power grid before 28 September 2008 was
transferred to the end-investor, a leading German investment company in
Europe.
The end-investorÂ’s equity amounting to 25 % of the EUR 70m total has
already been paid as specified in the contract. The balance will be due
once the relevant financing negotiations have been concluded and the
borrowed funds have been disbursed. The Executive Board at SYSTAIC expects
to receive the balance within the coming months.
