Law Enforcement Associates Provides Update on Transfer to Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board

RALEIGH, NC--(Marketwire - December 1, 2008) - Law Enforcement Associates Corporation (LEA)
(PINKSHEETS : LAWE ), the largest U.S. developer and manufacturer of
undercover surveillance equipment, today announced that pursuant to the
Company's intent to transfer the listing of its common stock to the
Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board, a Form 15c2-11 has been submitted with the
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) by a member firm intending
to make a market in LEA's stock. Pending FINRA's approval of submission,
which the Company expects shortly, LEA's stock is being quoted on the
Electronic Pink Sheets under the symbol "LAWE." The Company said it will
issue a subsequent news release announcing when trading on the OTC-BB has
commenced, as well as the symbol under which LEA's common stock will trade.
