Command Information Assists Fluke Networks With Joint Interoperability Test Command Certification Process

Company Provides Strategic Planning and Analysis for IPv6 Capabilities

HERNDON, VA--(Marketwire - December 2, 2008) - Command Information, the premier provider of next generation network services, today announced that it has been selected by Fluke Networks to provide support for its Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) certification process.

Under the terms of the agreement, Command Information will develop a gap analysis and test plan, as well as provide strategic direction and onsite testing support for the Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) capabilities in Fluke Networks' OptiView® product suite. OptiView is part of Fluke Networks' SuperVision Solutions™ family of products used in the testing, monitoring, and analysis of enterprise and telecommunications networks. Command Information will help enable OptiView to pass the stringent JITC testing and evaluation process.

"Fluke Networks is constantly working to make sure our products are keeping abreast with advances in networking. That is particularly true when it comes to ensuring compliance with the requirements of U.S. civilian and defense agencies," said Dave Skingley, Product Manager Fluke Networks' OptiView line. "The move to IPv6, which is being led by many of our government customers, presents many technical challenges which Fluke Networks has met and overcome. We are relying upon Command Information to independently verify that our IPv6 capabilities perform as promised, as well as align with government standards."

JITC is a world-class test and evaluation organization that advances global net-centric testing in support of warfighting capabilities. Once certified, the Fluke Networks OptiView product line will be added to the DISA JITC approved products list, which offers an increased level of confidence related to information assurance and interoperability across the Department of Defense.

"Command Information has worked with many companies to ensure their IPv6 functionality meets JITC requirements," said Jerry Edgerton, CEO, Command Information. "Given the exceptional past performance and strong security of Fluke Networks' products, we are certain that the process will run smoothly. We appreciate the confidence of Fluke Networks and look forward to helping them secure JITC certification."
