Rezidor announces the Park Inn Berlin City West, Germany
The Rezidor Hotel Group announces the Park Inn Berlin City West - the existing
94 room-property will be re-launched under the dynamic and innovative mid-market
brand Park Inn before the end of the year. It is Rezidor's second Park Inn in
the German capital: In 2003, the group opened its first Park Inn ever at
Alexanderplatz Square in the Eastern part of town (1012 rooms). Rezidor also
operates the Radisson SAS Berlin (427 rooms) featuring the world's largest
cylindrical aquarium, and the luxurious The Regent Berlin (195 rooms) at
Gendarmenmarkt Square. “Berlin is the only city which showcases three of our
leading brands, and we are delighted to run four properties in this competitive
market”, says Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of Rezidor.
Park Inn is Rezidor's fastest growing brand: Within five years only the
portfolio of hotels in operation and under development reached almost 120
properties with more than 21,500 rooms across EMEA.
The Park Inn Berlin City West is a common project with Rezidor's franchise
partner Proventhotels. It is located in the Wilmersdorf quarter in the Western
part of town; in a quiet side street near Fehrbelliner Platz. Berlin's
Kurfürstendamm - one of the country's most legendary shopping avenues - is 900
meters away, the distance to the Central Station “Lehrter Bahnhof” is 6
kilometers, to the airport “Berlin Tegel” 9,5 kilometers.
In addition to this high-profile location, the hotel also offers 94 modern and
colorful rooms, a brasserie restaurant, a lobby bar, a summer terrace and
garden, 2 conference rooms and 25 underground parking spots.
