Out O' Space Storage Partners With Marine Toys for Tots

PENSACOLA, Fla., Dec. 10, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Out O' Space Storage, in partnership with the Florida Self Storage Association, a statewide organization for the self storage industry, is working with Toys for Tots for the 2008 holiday season. Out O' Space Storage has collection sites at their two area locations for dropping off new toys to be distributed by the Marine Toys for Tots to needy children in the area for the holiday season.

New toys can be donated during business hours of Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM at 1470 S. Hwy 29, Cantonment (one mile north of Kingsfield Road) or 540 E. Fairfield Drive, Pensacola (1.7 miles from the Cordova Mall). Items must be new, unwrapped and in their original packaging. Out O' Space Storage will be providing cookies, coffee, and donuts to everyone who drops off unwrapped toys at their two locations on Saturday, December 13th.

"We are pleased to be involved in the Marine Toys for Tots program along with our continuing sponsorship of Help Them Call Home, another worthy organization," commented Richard O'Brien, owner and operator of Out O' Space Storage. "We are happy to support the effort to give toys to local children who might otherwise not receive a gift during the holidays. During these hard economic times, we must remember the smallest and most vulnerable amongst us."

Toys for Tots has been collecting and delivering toys for children since 1947 when Major Bill Hendricks USMCR and a group of Marine Reservists collected and distributed 5,000 toys to needy children. Now in its 61st year, the organization boasts almost 20 million toys delivered to approximately 8 million children.
