New Canaan Ski & Sport(TM) Launches Annual Holiday Coat Drive Effort

Top Ski Equipment and Apparel Retailer Combines Charitable Giving Effort With Store-Wide Savings Event

NEW CANAAN, CT--(Marketwire - December 11, 2008) - New Canaan Ski & Sport has launched their annual coat drive event to benefit those in need of warm coats this winter. "This event is always important, but this year, it's critical," stated Susan Alberino, one of the principals of the family owned business. "We want to receive as all businesspeople do, but we absolutely must give as much as we can this year as human beings," commented Pam Alberino.

The stores, located in Ridgefield and New Canaan, are also running a special store-wide savings program, with the ability for customers to receive up to 20% in savings on their purchases, after a single purchase of $50 or more. Shoppers who qualify will select a special snowflake tree ornament in-store, with a specific savings designation in each ornament.
