LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - December 18, 2008) - Canyon Gate Medical Group has partnered with New York-New York Hotel & Casino to provide medical services for the property's 2,000-plus employees and covered dependents. Making quality healthcare more convenient and cost-effective than ever before, Canyon Gate has created a free Ready Care Clinic on site at New York-New York staffed with a full-time bilingual nurse and is waiving employees' co-pay fees for medical appointments at its other Las Vegas locations. By focusing on prevention and early detection, Canyon Gate aims to keep employees healthy while potentially reducing long-term medical expenses for the company.

Though a relative newcomer to Las Vegas after launching in September, Canyon Gate garnered New York-New York's attention with its high-quality personalized healthcare. Canyon Gate Medical Group is an affiliate of Outcome Based Delivery Systems (OBDS), the owner of preeminent medical practices in Las Vegas and South Florida. At its full-service locations, the primary care physician group delivers immediate and enhanced medical services, known as concierge medical care, but does not charge a membership fee in contrast to other practices. Canyon Gate matches each patient with one primary doctor who is available to them 24 hours daily over the course of their life; serves as medical liaison with specialists, during hospital stays and emergency room visits; and offers same-day appointments with minimal wait times.

"Canyon Gate's relationship with New York-New York is a major first step in our effort to show the Las Vegas community how healthcare should be," said Dr. Eric Moskow, MD, Chief Executive Officer of OBDS. "As a patient advocate for more than 20 years, I believe every individual deserves high-quality healthcare and an expert overseeing all medical needs, regardless of their means. We are dedicated to improving healthcare for Las Vegans and are honored to have built this relationship with a community leader like New York-New York."

Cynthia Kiser Murphey, president and Chief Operating Officer of New York-New York, said, "Our expanded wellness program and partnership with Canyon Gate Medical Group is evidence of our dedication to the health of our employees. We are fortunate to have a first-class medical provider to work with our employees on prevention of medical issues while providing extremely personalized care to keep our employees and their families healthy. This relationship will be very beneficial to our employees, saving them time and money while continuing to encourage a proactive approach to a healthy lifestyle." Murphey continued, "Canyon Gate has a vision for this community. They merge top-of-the line, cutting-edge medical care with an old-fashioned approach to service: personalized, preventative and prompt."

The Ready Care Clinic at New York-New York is an extension of the MGM MIRAGE (NYSE: MGM) Healthy Living program designed to provide employees and dependents with tools and resources to improve and manage their health. The clinic is open on varying days to accommodate multiple shifts. The bilingual nurse will provide screening for minor medical issues, assist employees in completing an Online Wellness Assessment to obtain immediate health-risk data, offer counsel for health management issues, and share information on wellness and other available company-sponsored health programs.

New York-New York employees also are welcome to visit Canyon Gate's full-service medical offices, currently open across from Sunrise Hospital (3101 South Maryland Pkwy, Ste. 100A; 702.262.1130) and next to Southern Hills Hospital (9280 W. Sunset Road, Ste. 300; 702.262.0124). Opening soon, its third office will be located at 3960 West Craig Road in North Las Vegas. For more information about Canyon Gate Medical Group, visit
