-- Yung Ho Chang, an accomplished architect and professor who established
China's first private architecture firm, Atelier FCJZ, set up the Graduate
Center of Architecture at Peking University (1999) and is currently the
Head of the Department of Architecture at MIT.
-- Dr. Shi Zhengrong, a renewable energy pioneer, who founded Suntech
Power Co., Ltd., which specializes in manufacturing silicon solar cells,
modules and systems.
-- Don Mischer, an internationally recognized producer and director of
television and live events, such as the opening ceremony of the 2007
Special Olympics World Summer Games in Shanghai and Super Bowl Halftime
Shows with Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones, Prince and Michael Jackson.
-- Qiuyu Yu, a well-known scholar in Chinese culture and writer of
international fame. During his early days in Shanghai, he was a planning
consultant to the Shanghai government and head of the Shanghai Theatre
Academy. He is the recipient of the First Prize for National Best
Textbooks, the Lu Xun Literature Prize, and the Taiwan Platinum Writer
Prize, among others.
-- Jia Lu, a highly respected artist and designer who has shown in over
200 solo exhibitions, including the United Nations headquarters in 2000.
Her work can be found in public and corporate collections around the world,
including the Government of Canada, the Bank of China, Boeing Corporation
and Morgan Stanley, as well as numerous private collections.
