Company announcement no. 3/2009 - EAC's share capital

With reference to section 6 of Executive Order No. 1273 of 16
December 2008 issued by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority,
it is hereby confirmed that the share capital of The East Asiatic
Company Ltd. A/S, after reduction of the share capital as of 23 July
2008, amounts to DKK 985,873,980 consisting of 14,083,277 shares of
DKK 70.- each, corresponding to 14,083,277 voting rights and 1,275
shares of DKK 35.- each, corresponding to 637.5 voting rights - or a
total of 14,083,914.5 voting rights.
