LOS ANGELES, Jan. 15, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LYS&R announced today that Stanton "Larry" Stein will join the firm as a named partner from Dreier Stein Kahan Browne Woods George LLP, where he served as the head of the Entertainment & Media Department. Stein is regularly included as one of the top entertainment lawyers and has been referred to as one of the top five "A-List Entertainment Lawyers" changing Hollywood.
Stein represents all aspects of the entertainment industry -- from writers, directors, and producers to actors, musicians, and entertainment guilds -- and his client roster includes A-listers in film, television and music.

Joseph Taylor, who heads the firm's existing 12 person entertainment litigation group practiced with Stein in the 1990s when they were both at Stein & Kahan. Taylor joined the Liner firm when Stein merged his firm into Alschuler, Grossman, Stein & Kahan.
