Director's dealing: Pledge of shares


Following recent clarification by the Financial Services Authority, in
accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.2, AstraZeneca PLC (the
“Company”) announces that it has received notification from Marcus Wallenberg, a
Non-Executive Director of the Company, that he has pledged 60,028 shares in the
Company owned by him as security against personal loans.
