VINX Index Information: Adjustment of VINX30 due to rights issue in Nordea (01/09)

The board of Nordea has proposed that an Extra General Meeting (EGM), on March 12, 2009, approves a rights issue where the number of ordinary shares to be issued and the subscription price will be decided by the board at latest March 11, 2009. The scheduled record date is March 17, 2009. Provided that the EGM approves the proposed rights issue, NASDAQ OMX Stockholm will carry out an adjustment of VINX30 index in accordance with the ”Rules for the Construction and Maintenance of the NOREX Exchanges´ Tradeable, All-Share, Sector and Benchmark Indexes” rule 5.3.

The adjustment will lead to an increase in the number of Nordea Bank AB (NDA SEK, SE0000427361) shares in the VINX30 index, according to the terms of the rights issue, as from the Ex date March 13, 2009.
