Mitchell's 2009 Process Improvement Seminar Kicks Off in Minneapolis With More Cities to Be Announced

Improving Productivity, Throughput and Cycle Times Among Best Practice Topics to Be Discussed at Process Improvement Seminars

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - February 27, 2009) - Mitchell International, Inc., a leading provider of information, workflow, and performance management solutions to the collision claims and repair industries, today announced expanded educational offerings through its new "express style" seminars lead by Ron Kuehn, internationally known speaker, author and business consultant. The seminar series kicks off on March 10th in Minneapolis and is designed to share the most sought after best practices with owners and managers of collision repair facilities -- to help them streamline operations and stay competitive in today's challenging economic environment.

"We understand the obstacles that collision repairers are facing as they try to navigate the turbulent economy. This seminar series is a valuable learning opportunity for shops of all sizes because Ron will offer easy to digest ideas that collision repairers can put to immediate use," said Jason Bertellotti, Vice President of Repair Solutions for Mitchell International. "With Ron leading the sessions, I am confident that the sessions will be informative and interactive. He has 35 years' experience in the industry and has consulted numerous repair facilities to maximize their potential."

The three-hour seminar led by Kuehn aims to remove complexity from shop management by delivering useful, practical, and critical knowledge -- no matter which management and shop systems a collision repair facility may currently use -- enabling them to immediately set in motion concepts including:

-- Reducing total expenses -- identifying and eliminating waste
-- Easily establishing standard operating procedures
-- Improving employee accountability and empowerment -- creating a "great
    place to work"
-- Removing scheduling limitations to improve throughput and cycle times
-- Implementing systems to improve productivity and leverage existing
    cash flow

"It's imperative for shops to learn techniques that are relevant to their specific business needs," said Ron Kuehn, President of Collision Business Solutions, Inc. "That's why we are keeping the sessions small and providing real-world examples and illustrations that participants can apply individually."

Collision repair facilities that would like to attend the Minneapolis seminar can call 800-238-9111 ext.7831 or email management.seminar@mitchell.com to register. Other cities will be visited approximately once a quarter with the official schedule to be announced.
