AEP Networks Executive to Discuss Hardware Security Modules for DNS Security Extensions at Government Security Conference

SOMERSET, NJ--(Marketwire - March 2, 2009) -

WHO: Fergal Murray, director of Business Development, of AEP
Networks, developers of high-performance, cost effective
          secure networking and communications solutions.

WHAT: Will be a distinguished panelist discussing "Naming Hardware and
          Software Solutions for DNSSEC Deployment"

WHEN: The Government Security Expo and Conference (GovSec) will take
place Wednesday, March 11 and Thursday, March 12, 2009.

"Naming Hardware and Software Solutions for DNSSEC Deployment"
          will be held Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

WHERE: Walter E. Washington Convention Center
          801 Mount Vernon Place, NW
          Washington, D.C.

AEP Networks will be displaying its DNSSEC solution in Internet
          Systems Consortium's booth, No. 303.

AEP Networks will also be exhibiting its solutions at the FOSE
exhibition, which is running concurrently with GovSec, in booth
          No. 2231.

DETAILS: The Federal Government has mandated that, by the end of the year,
all government Web sites roll out DNS Security Extensions
(DNSSEC) to prevent hackers from hijacking Web sites and
redirecting traffic to bogus, often nefarious, sites. This
presents many challenges for government agencies, including the
integration of new hardware and software. During this panel
discussion, Fergal Murray will share insight on the AEP Keyper
Hardware Security Model (HSM), designed to generate and store
cryptographic keys. Keyper is the only HSM on the market to
receive the highest accreditation available in the Federal
Information Processing Standards (FIPS) program, FIPS 140-2
Level 4 certification, and is currently utilized by ICANN and
many other organizations. Murray will discuss HSMs, why they are
essential, how they integrate into a DNSSEC implementation and
why FIPS certification is vital to a government organization.
