RAMIRENT QUALITY MANAGEMENT STEPS FORWARD IN RUSSIA
LLC Ramirent Machinery, operating in St. Petersburg, Russia, has received ISO
9001:2000 quality Certification. The certificate covers rental services and
sales of construction equipment in all divisions of Ramirent Machinery in St.
Petersburg.
Achieving the valued ISO 9001:2000 certificate demonstrates Ramirent Plc's
commitment to high quality standards in the equipment rental business. Ramirent
Plc abides by the high Nordic quality standards and propagates a culture of high
quality and safety in all the countries it operates in.
“In achieving ISO 9001:2000 certification, we really had to go through in depth
all our operations and processes; from the moment of purchase to the write-off
of the equipment”, says Vitaliy Radikevich, Quality Manager of the LLC Ramirent
Machinery. “The auditing process can also help you to optimise the use of
resources. It will be a great benefit, especially in current difficult economic
conditions.”
Certification audits were conducted by World's leading inspection, verification,
testing and Certification Company SGS. Audits took place from May 2007 through
October 2008. In December 2008 LLC Ramirent Machinery passed the final audit and
achieved full certification. “Ramirent Machinery is one of the first Russian
rent companies offering a wide range of the building equipment which has
received certificate ISO 9001:2000”, says Vitaliy Radikevich.
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the world's largest
developer and publisher of International Standards. ISO 9001:2000 standards
specify organizational requirements in documentation, procedures and operations
for a quality management system. They are important for a business focused on
demonstrating its ability to consistently provide products or services that meet
customer satisfaction and applicable regulatory requirements.
