Solara Promotes and Hires Fresh Talent


PARSIPPANY, NJ--(Marketwire - March 31, 2009) - Solara, a CommonHealth business unit created to provide strategic marketing services to improve patient access to pharmaceutical brands competing in managed markets, today announced one promotion and nine new hires.

Promotion

Trudy Chiavelli, with Solara for nearly two years, has been promoted to senior account executive from her previous post as traffic manager. In her new role, Ms. Chiavelli will oversee the daily activities for her assigned accounts, anticipating and managing her clients' needs. Ms. Chiavelli will also assist in the strategic development of tactical concepts and contribute to new business opportunities.

New Hires

Joanne Way joins Solara as senior vice president, managing director. As such, she will be charged with acquiring new business, expanding Solara's resource pool and building upon managed market client offerings. Additionally, Ms. Way will assist in creating innovative managed market strategies for clients to ensure affordability and maximize brand performance. Most recently, Ms. Way was employed as director of managed markets at Beacon Healthcare Communications located in Bedminster.

Dana Regan returns to the CommonHealth organization as a senior vice president, managing director at Solara. Ms. Regan will manage payer strategic communications for her designated accounts and continue to build strong client relationships within the agency. Previously, Ms. Regan was employed as a vice president, account group supervisor at Solara's sister agency, Ferguson, the founding professional advertising and promotion agency of network. Immediately prior to returning to CommonHealth, she was senior vice president, managing director at Torre Lazur, a healthcare advertising firm located in Parsippany, were she directed the managed markets division.

Danielle Yeranian, also a CommonHealth alum due to a stint as production manager at ProCom, one of the company's medical education units, joins Solara as director of traffic. In this position, Ms. Yeranian will supervise the department ensuring all projects are routed properly throughout the agency, from inception to completion. Prior to returning to CommonHealth, Ms. Yeranian was employed as production and operations director at Looney Advertising, a boutique consumer agency located in Montclair.

Entering Solara as editorial manager, Keith Croes will manage the editorial team, ensuring editorial quality, accuracy, and style meet both agency guidelines and clients' objectives. Most recently, Mr. Croes was director of scientific services at The Selva Group, a full-service medical education and event management company headquartered in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Transferring from sister agency Carbon, a CommonHealth professional advertising and promotion agency created to serve the marketing needs of emerging pharma and specialty brands, Brenda Rebilas has joined the Solara team as a vice president, associate creative director. She will provide design perspective and insight for her assigned brands. Ms. Rebilas has been with the organization for eleven years.

Carolyn Ignomirello joins Solara as a group copy supervisor. In this position, she will contribute to the strategic and creative direction for various brands and oversee all copywriting for her designated accounts. Before coming to the company, Ms. Ignomirello was a copy supervisor at Natrel Communications, a pharmaceutical advertising agency in Parsippany.

Parker Jones comes to Solara as an account supervisor. In this role, he will function as the principal day-to-day representative of the company on his account assignments, managing budgets and working with the internal Solara team to meet the clients' needs. Prior to joining Solara, Mr. Jones was employed as a senior account executive at Sudler & Hennessey, a healthcare communications agency located in Berkeley Heights.

Entering Solara as a senior account executive, Tara Heckman-Miller will develop and implement campaigns and coordinate fiscal accountability for budgets and expense reporting for her designated accounts. Before joining the agency, Ms. Heckman-Miller was a consultant for THM Consultants, a firm that focused on servicing the pharmaceutical industry by providing project management and event coordination services.

Ron Jervis joins Solara as traffic coordinator. As such, he will route jobs through the agency from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Prior to signing on with Solara, Mr. Jervis graduated with a bachelor's degree in media production from East Carolina University's School of Communication.
