  • Today Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) announced activities planned for the National Cable & Telecommunications Association's (NCTA) "The Cable Show '09," including product demonstrations that highlight how Cisco is helping its cable service provider customers implement medianet technologies that will transform consumer video experiences for the Connected Life at Home.
  • Cisco will be demonstrating new technologies and solutions that will enable Internet Protocol (IP) networks to become the platform for a new generation of video and rich media applications and services. This new class of technologies is designed to enable advanced communications, collaboration and entertainment experiences through video- and rich media-optimized service provider, business, and home networks, known as "medianets."
