SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwire - April 14, 2009) - Today, 4Life Research™ announced the
completion of its La Casa Rosada (The Pink House Orphanage) expansion
project in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Foundation 4Life, a
not-for-profit entity established by 4Life and dedicated to philanthropic
activity in communities wherever 4Life distributors conduct business around
the world, broke ground on the addition three years ago.
Foundation 4Life activities range from small scale, distributor-driven and
employee-organized weekend community events to larger, national relief
efforts and international humanitarian campaigns. 4Life Research
underwrites all operational expenses of Foundation 4Life so 100% of all
money raised goes directly to the causes that Foundation 4Life supports.
Since the inaugural donation of $75,000, 4Life distributors and employees
have donated more than a quarter million dollars and many hours of service
to complete the La Casa Rosada expansion project. A special ribbon-cutting
ceremony for the completed addition will be held on April 14 at the
orphanage.
"The great 4Life family appeared and fulfilled all of our dreams," says
orphanage founder Sister Carmen Veiga. "The new addition has wonderful
views of the city and it has a lot of space for the children to play, rest
well, and study in a calm and quiet atmosphere."
4Life Co-founder Bianca Lisonbee: "My personal thanks go out to all 4Life
distributors and employees for their enthusiastic support of this project."
Foundation 4Life Director Tracie Kay: "Because of so many service efforts,
the La Casa Rosada children have a place to sleep, a place to play, and a
place to change their lives for the better."
4Life outreach programs include 9/11 relief in New York City; Tsunami
relief in Southeast Asia; relief efforts for Hurricane Noel in the
