Red Bull Air Race World Championship TV Program Wins Emmy(R) Award in New York City

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - April 28, 2009) - The Red Bull Air Race World Championship television program on Fox Sports Network received a prestigious Sports Emmy® Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences at the 30th Annual Sports Emmy® Award -- sports television's equivalent of the Oscars -- at a ceremony held in New York City on Monday evening.

Capturing the drama, speed and skill of the world's best race pilots on the ground and in the air as they fly their high performance airplanes at speeds of up to 230 miles per hour is one of the most challenging jobs in televised sport. The producers of the world program have managed to maintain the incredibly high levels of production over the five years that the Red Bull Air Race World Championship has been in existence.

The Red Bull Air Race World Championship program, which is broadcast in the U.S.A. on Fox Sports Network (FSN), won in the category: 'Outstanding Technical Team Remote' which recognizes the technical portion of sports programs in remote venues.

The program for FSN is produced by American company G.R.A.C.E. Productions together with Austrian-based production company West4Media as well as SiVision, Sky Media and Riedel Communications.
