Berlin, May 5, 2009 - Mr. Tobias Wahl, currently the Chairman of the
Supervisory Board of SOLON SE, has resigned from this office with effect
from the end of the annual general meeting that is scheduled to take place
on June 17, 2009. Mr. Wahl has been a member of the Supervisory Board since
2002 and has been Chairman since 2006.

A new member of the Supervisory Board is to be elected by shareholders at
the annual general meeting of SOLON SE.

In view of the company's dynamic growth in recent years, the Management
Board and Supervisory Board will also propose to the annual general meeting
that
the company's Supervisory Board be expanded from three to six members in
order to continue to be able to meet the growing demands on members of the
Supervisory Board.
