First Quarter Report 2009 from Skjern Bank


• Loss of DKK - 11.6 million after tax.
• 30 % increase in EBIT before write-downs, translation and share price
  adjustments 
  and costs associated with the first guarantee scheme for banks.
• Costs reduced by 6 %.
• Write-downs amount to DKK 26.2 million, equivalent to 0.5 % on a quarterly
  basis. 
• Costs of the first guarantee scheme for banks amount to DKK 4.5 million.
• Deposits increased by 7 % and loans fell by 4 % compared to the end of the
  year. 
• The solvency ratio is strengthened to 13.3 % against 12.9 % at the turn of
  the year. 
• The core capital ratio is increased to 10.9 %.
• The individual capital adequacy is determined at 8.2 %.
• Very solid liquidity surplus of 221 %.
• Participation in the second guarantee scheme for banks in Denmark (Bankpakke
  II).
