NASDAQ OMX Iceland hf. (The Exchange) has decided to remove bonds issued by Samson eignarhaldsfelag ehf. (SAMS 05 1, SAMS 07 4, SAMS 07 5 and SAMS 07 6) from trading after closing of trading May 12th, 2009 in accordance with paragraph 8.5.1 in the Rules for issuers of financial instruments at the Exchange. This decision is based on the bankruptcy of the issuer.
