Notification on obtaining significant holding

On 20 May 2009 JSC “Grindeks” has received the notification on obtaining
significant holding from East Capital Asset Management AB. East Capital's total
holdings in the security of JSC “Grindeks” currently amount to 8.51% of the
outstanding shares.
