Hamburg, May 26, 2009 - PROCON MultiMedia AG (ISIN: DE0005122006, Prime
Standard), an internationally leading full-service provider of technical
equipment for events, film and TV productions, could assert its position
inspite of a decrease of sales by 4.7 % in the first quarter 2009. At sales
of EUR 20.3 million in the first quarter 2009 (previous year EUR 21.3
million) the EBITDA could be increased from EUR 2.5 million to EUR 2.9
million. The EBIT amounts to EUR -0.2 million and consequently achieves the
previous year's stage.

Based on the first-time capitalisation of deferred tax assets of EUR 1.6
million, the profit amounts to EUR 0.7 million in the first quarter 2008.
Caused by a deffered tax liability of EUR 0.2 million, the result amounts
to EUR -1.2 million for the first quarter 2009. As a result, earnings per
share amount to EUR -0.07 (previous year EUR 0.04 per share).

Projects served by Procon in the first quarter of 2008 have included
amongst others: the Echo Awards, Berlin, the 'Equitana', Essen, and the
opening of the Rhein-Neckar-Arena, Sinsheim. Recently, Procon served the
Eurovision Song Contest, Moscow, an the final of the TV-Show Germany's next
Topmodel.
