Critical Solutions Receives Order for Its Alternative Energy Powered Tower, the Mojo

ASHBURN, Va., May 27, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Critical Solutions Inc. (Pink Sheets:CSLI), the designer of renewable energy tower systems, announces that the Company has received an order for its Mojo system to be utilized by a U.S. Government agency. The renewable energy system will be delivered to the end user within the next three weeks. The Mojo was sold through the Company's sales and marketing subsidiary, White Door, Inc. and one of their technology resellers.

The Mojo is a road-ready, rapidly deployable trailer that includes a 26-foot telescoping tower, battery box and complex set of electronics as well as four solar panels and a wind generator. A Mojo typically produces approximately 520 watts of sustained solar power, and the wind turbines generate 350 to 600 watts of sustained power.

The use of natural power sources eliminates the need for grid-based power, suiting a Mojo system for use in remote environments such as those in combat or border patrol situations. The systems can handle a variety of payloads to support missions such as intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, or communications. The balance of solar and wind power built into a Mojo enables it to operate through various environmental occurrences such as at night when solar power is not available or during weather when wind is absent.

Recently, testing by the U.S, Marine Corps was highlighted by SIGNAL Magazine. The article talked about how the Marine Corps is testing and evaluating the Mojo system for use in applications from sensor suites to communication.
