Lappland Goldminers AB - Update from production in Blaiken

Gold production at the Blaiken mill started at the end of April from
mineralised material already mined and stockpiled outside the mill.
The size of the stockpile was estimated to 90 000 tonne and the
processed material until now has been between 2.2 - 2.6 gram per
tonne gold, but unefficiency in the milling process has occurred. In
cooperation the supplier of the equipment an action plan has been
developed and launched. If the outcome of the actions are not
acceptable, production will be temporary stopped after 10 days.

Parallell to the start up of production the Company has identified a
new mineralized area within the mining concession of Blaiken.
Preparations for the definition drilling have started in order to
define the ore reserve.
Therefore it's possible that mining can begin earlier than under the
original plan.
