AtHoc and CompuNet Announce Reseller Agreement to Provide Network-Centric Mass Notification Solutions to CompuNet's Commercial and Public Sector Customers

CompuNet to Build Upon Its Unified Communications Expertise and Deliver an AtHoc Unified Mass Notification Solution to the Market

SAN MATEO, CA and MERIDIAN, IN--(Marketwire - June 22, 2009) - AtHoc, Inc., the pioneer and leader in network-centric unified emergency notification systems, and CompuNet Inc., a leading network engineering design company with security specialization, today announced a partnership agreement whereby CompuNet will resell the AtHoc IWSAlerts™ solution to its commercial, education and public sector customers. CompuNet is a Cisco Advanced Unified Communications Partner and a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.

AtHoc selected CompuNet as a reseller based on its integration capabilities, its solid customer base and the firm's expertise with unified communications technologies as well as physical security products including Cisco IP Interoperability and Collaboration System (IPICS) and Cisco Video Surveillance. CompuNet's expertise in unified communication and physical security implementations will directly benefit customers implementing integrated solutions incorporating AtHoc's software by reducing costs and speeding deployments.

"By partnering with AtHoc, we're able to offer market-leading network-centric mass notification technology to our existing client base and into new customer prospects," said Gregg Pruett, general manager for CompuNet. "As a standalone, AtHoc IWSAlerts provides a significant contribution to an organization's security posture, which is then further amplified when implemented in conjunction with Unified Communication technologies. AtHoc's architecture makes it possible to seamlessly integrate additional communications channels and sensors into the AtHoc mass notification ecosystem, and the end result is a powerful and pervasive mass notification capability that can grow with an organization's needs."

The AtHoc solution provides organizations with an emergency alerting strategy that allows them to send out emergency alerts via the network to multiple devices simultaneously, including: computers, mobile devices, radios, television, telephones, mass email, push-to-talk devices and SMS text messages. The integration with Cisco products provides alert distribution through additional channels, including the land mobile radios and Cisco VoIP phone displays using IPICS. This integration also allows the AtHoc system to receive emergency feeds from Cisco physical security products such as Video Surveillance in order to trigger alerts to all appropriate channels managed by AtHoc IWSAlerts.

"CompuNet is an ideal channel partner for AtHoc. They understand the value of unified communications platforms, security applications. That experience directly complements our approach to multi-channel emergency mass notification," said Dubhe Beinhorn, vice president of alliances and channels for AtHoc.
