MMR Information Systems Targets Integrated Fax Messaging Market With Deployment of Outbound Fax Capability

Company's Fully Integrated Communications Platform Expands Meaningful Use of Personal Health Records for Consumers

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - June 25, 2009) - MMR Information Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: MMRF) (the "Company"), which through its wholly-owned operating subsidiary, MyMedicalRecords, Inc. ("MMR") provides consumer-controlled Personal Health Records ("PHRs") (www.mymedicalrecords.com) and electronic safe deposit box storage solutions (www.myesafedepositbox.com), today announced it has entered a rapidly growing market with the deployment of outbound fax capability to its entire MyMedicalRecords PHR user base.

According to a report released by Davidson Consulting in 2008, the overall fax service industry will increase from $925 million in 2007 to $1.665 billion in 2012, a 12.5% compound annual growth rate (CAGR). In addition to enhancing the capability of the MyMedicalRecords Personal Health Record, the outbound fax feature puts the Company squarely in the integrated fax messaging market that currently includes companies such as eFax® and RapidFAX®. The Company believes that MMR can successfully compete, feature for feature, with these services in the banking, financial and insurance markets.

"The development of outbound fax has always been an integral part of our product plan and presents a tremendous opportunity for the Company," said Robert H. Lorsch, Chairman and CEO of MMR Information Systems, Inc. "Everybody talks about paperless health records, however, the reality is that the majority of physicians' offices still receive documents by fax. Consumers using our Personal Health Record and doctors using our MyMedicalRecords Professional products will now be able to receive documents, images and records into the patient(s) account from any EMR, fax machine or telephone and then send a record in its native format either by e-mail or fax within four clicks of a mouse."

"Any company that is evaluating a Personal Heath Record to offer its employees needs to look at putting our product on the short list, because we not only deliver a powerful Personal Health Record, we also are providing a computer-based fax, document management and storage service that employees can use anywhere in the world," Lorsch added.

The MyMedicalRecords PHR provides users with a full-featured Personal Health Record, a drug interaction tool, and the MyEsafeDepositBox electronic vault for storing all of their important documents in addition to medical records. The platform offers patients, medical professionals, banks and employers a complete PHR and document management system at about one-half the cost of a typical fax mail service, with no limit on the number of pages that users can fax in and out of their account and numerous other patent-protected features not found in other systems.

As to the controversy about "Meaningful Use," doctors and patients can now maximize the speed and effectiveness of how a system receives a health record from any provider through any system, view it, file it and then forward it to any other provider without touching a piece of paper or having a fax machine.

On implementation, MMR's outbound fax capability integrates seamlessly with the information in the MyMedicalRecords PHR. Users simply check the records that they want to have faxed -- the feature allows for multiple records to be faxed at the same time -- and then select the provider to whom they want to have the information faxed. The system automatically populates the recipient's fax number from information stored in the user account and sends the records with a single click of the send button. When the fax is delivered, users receive a confirmation e-mail. If, for any reason, the MMR system is unable to deliver the fax to the recipient after multiple attempts, users receive an e-mail explaining the reason for the unsuccessful delivery attempt, such as the line being busy. Users can resend a fax just by clicking on a link in their "Sent Faxes" folder.

MMR had launched the product as a Beta test in April to coincide with the HIMSS 2009 Conference that was held in Chicago.

Because the Company is consistently focused on shareholder value, it is committed to expanding its business offerings, and the integrated outbound fax capability adds to MMR's primary business of empowering consumers to easily and securely manage all the important records in their life, whether paper-based or digital. And further given Mr. Lorsch's prior success in the telecommunications industry, the Company believes it is now positioned to compete in that marketplace with a Personal Health Record that features an integrated messaging product Inside. This offering -- a PHR, plus a MyEsafeDepositBox virtual vault, plus voice messaging and fax capability -- brings the integrated communications platform to healthcare and Lorsch back to leveraging the Company's experience in telecommunications services.
