Caribbean Casino and Gaming Chosen as Exclusive Tradewinds Radio Affiliate

MIAMI, July 2, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The booming North Coast of the Dominican Republic is the latest Caribbean destination to enjoy 'Tradewinds Radio The Sound Of The Tropics' thanks to a recently concluded Broadcast Affiliate Agreement between Caribbean Casino and Gaming Corporation (Pink Sheets:CGAQ) and Tradewinds Broadcasting Corp (www.tradewindsradio.com). Service was officially launched today, following last week's installation of special broadcast equipment.

"Tradewinds selected Caribbean Casino and Gaming (www.caribbeangamingcorp.com) as their exclusive radio and television partner in the Puerto Plata regional market because of the excellent prospects for their Sosua Bay Grand Casino (www.sosuabaygrandcasino.com) and their good understanding of the online and broadcast media market," stated Allen Engebretsen, veteran radio and television executive and President of Tradewinds.

Initially, Tradewinds Radio will provide the overnight audio programming on television channel 3 and assist with visitor-oriented television programming, providing a targeted way to reach visitors in their hotel rooms, which usually don't have radios. "An FM radio station is also in our near term plan as part of our total media plan," according to Steven Swank, Chairman and CEO of Caribbean Casino and Gaming. "We want to reach everybody who loves music, ashore and afloat, and we have lots of yachts and marinas along our beautiful coast."

'Tradewinds Radio The Sound Of The Tropics' is a proprietary 'Americana' radio format uniquely designed for the affluent demographic of visitors and resident expatriates in the Caribbean and Latin America. The programming, which is delivered via broadband to a proprietary server located at each affiliate station, is a well-tuned mix of classic rock, pop, oldies, classic reggae and Caribbean music, and a little Latin music, all accompanied by the island sounds of Jimmy Buffett and Bobby Marley. USA Radio News and Caribbean weather round out the offering. The programming is streamed to the Internet via www.tradewindsradio.com.
