TERVEYSTALO HEALTHCARE OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE August 13, 2009 at 6:20 p.m STAR HEALTHCARE OY HAS THE RIGHT TO REDEEM THE MINORITY SHARES IN TERVEYSTALO HEALTHCARE OYJ The Arbitral Tribunal appointed by the Redemption Committee of the Central Chamber of Commerce has today confirmed that Star Healthcare Oy (“Star Healthcare”) has the right to redeem the minority shares in Terveystalo Healthcare Oyj (“Terveystalo”) and that Star Healthcare has the right to obtain title to the minority shares by lodging a security approved by the Arbitral Tribunal for the payment of the redemption price and the interest accruing thereon. Star Healthcare has stated that it will lodge the required security as soon as possible. A separate stock exchange release will be published regarding the lodging of the security and subsequent termination of public trading in the Terveystalo shares.
