Component Changes Made to Dow Jones Select Dividend Indexes


NEW YORK, Aug. 19, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced that Singapore Petroleum Co. Ltd. (Singapore, Oil & Gas, S99.SG) will be removed from the Dow Jones Global Select Dividend, Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend, Dow Jones Asia/Pacific Select Dividend 30 and Dow Jones Asia Select Dividend 30 indexes.

In the Dow Jones Global Select Dividend Index, Singapore Petroleum Co. Ltd. (Singapore, Oil & Gas, S99.SG) will be replaced by R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. (United States, Industrial Goods & Services, RRD).

In the Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend Index and Dow Jones Asia/Pacific Select Dividend 30 Index, Singapore Petroleum Co. Ltd. (Singapore, Oil & Gas, S99.SG) will be replaced by StarHub Ltd. (Singapore, Telecommunications, CC3.SG).

In the Dow Jones Asia Select Dividend 30 Index, Singapore Petroleum Co. Ltd. (Singapore, Oil & Gas, S99.SG) will be replaced by Taiwan Mobile Co. Ltd. (Taiwan, Telecommunications, 3045.TW).

Singapore Petroleum Co. Ltd. is being removed due to its acquisition by Petrochina Company Ltd (China, Oil & Gas, 0857.HK). All changes in the Dow Jones Global Select Dividend, Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend, Dow Jones Asia/Pacific Select Dividend 30 and Dow Jones Asia Select Dividend 30 indexes will be effective before the open of trading on Monday, August 24, 2009.
