TERVEYSTALO HEALTHCARE OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE August 25, 2009 at 5.40 p.m STAR HEALTHCARE OY HAS GAINED TITLE TO ALL THE SHARES IN TERVEYSTALO HEALTHCARE OYJ Terveystalo Healthcare Oyj (“Terveystalo”) announced on 13 August 2009 that the Arbitral Tribunal appointed by the Redemption Committee of the Central Chamber of Commerce of Finland had confirmed that Star Healthcare Oy (“Star Healthcare”) has the right to redeem the minority shares in Terveystalo and that Star Healthcare has the right to obtain title to the minority shares by lodging security approved by the Arbitral Tribunal for the payment of the redemption price and the interest accruing thereon. Star Healthcare has today lodged security approved by the Arbitral Tribunal and thus gained title to all the shares in Terveystalo in accordance with Chapter 18, Section 6 of the Finnish Companies Act. After the security having been lodged, the minority shareholders of Terveystalo being parties to the redemption proceedings are only entitled to receive the redemption price and the interest payable thereon. Upon application by Terveystalo, NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Oy (“NASDAQ OMX Helsinki”) has decided that the Terveystalo shares will be delisted from the Official List of NASDAQ OMX Helsinki upon title to all shares in Terveystalo having been transferred to Star Healthcare. The quoting of the Terveystalo shares on NASDAQ OMX Helsinki will thus cease in accordance with a separate release to be published by NASDAQ OMX Helsinki.
