Bilal Basrai Joins C. K. Cooper & Company as Director of Corporate Finance


IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 8, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- C. K. Cooper & Company, an independent, full-service investment bank, headquartered in Irvine, Calif., announced today that it has expanded its product offerings into the Healthcare Sector. With the addition of Bilal Basrai, C. K. Cooper & Company will now offer capital formation, corporate advisory and valuation services to publicly traded companies in one of the largest industry verticals in the world.

Basrai joins C. K. Cooper & Company as Director of Corporate Finance, and the leader of its newly established Healthcare Group. Basrai spent the majority of his career in New York City covering the Health Care Services Sector with leading investment banks including Salomon Smith Barney, UBS Financial and Lehman Brothers. Basrai also spent two years with the Stanford Financial Group prior to founding Lucite Advisors, LLC in 2006, a boutique investment advisory firm. Basrai has been involved in over $4.6 billion worth of transactions in the Healthcare Sector during his Wall Street career.
