In a press release dated August 26, 2009 and entitled RNB to implement a combined rights issue and private placement, RNB RETAIL AND BRANDS announced the Board of Directors' decision to implement a private placement of shares to Konsumentföreningen Stockholm (KfS) in an amount of approximately SEK 215 M and a rights issue with preferential rights for the company's existing shareholders amounting to approximately SEK 100 M. Motions pertaining to these share issues will be taken today, September 10, 2009, at an Extraordinary General Meeting. Torsten Jansson, member of RNB's Board of Directors and owner of 1.64% of the shares in the company, jointly with KfS, Konsumentföreningen Stockholm, has pledged to subscribe for shares corresponding to approximately 40% of the issue proceeds from the rights issue.
