SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwire - September 29, 2009) - IntelePeer Inc., a leader in hosted on-demand
rich media communications, today launched a new program for developers to
enable their applications with voice and communications features, hosted
from "the cloud," on the IntelePeer AppworX Open Communications Platform.
AppworX makes it easy for developers to create and deploy communications
functionality, such as voice calling and text messaging, deeply integrated
with other applications and workflows in the enterprise and on the Web. In
as little as a few hours, developers can create powerful
communications-enabled business processes (CEBP) and voice-Web mashups that
leverage IntelePeer's on-demand, Communications-as-a-Service infrastructure
to deliver advanced capabilities such as media blasts, voice broadcasts and
multi-party conferences.
The new Web site, http://developer.IntelePeer.com, provides developers with
the resources they need to easily build voice and rich media applications
on the IntelePeer AppworX Platform that reduce communications costs and
enhance business processes. By registering on the site, developers gain
immediate access to all of the site resources, which include a developer
forum, SDK tools, application programming interface (API) documentation,
example applications, a PHP code library and direct access to the
IntelePeer global peering network. Developer program participants also gain
up to 500 free voice minutes for testing new voice applications.
