Cold Jet Awarded GSA Schedule Contract for Dry Ice Blast Cleaning and Production Systems

CINCINNATI, OH--(Marketwire - September 30, 2009) - Cold Jet, LLC today announced that it has received a General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule contract, #GS-07F-0535V. As a result of the contract, customers can easily identify and specify Cold Jet's dry ice blast cleaning and production systems listed in the GSA Schedule. The five-year Schedule award covers Schedule 56, buildings and building maintenance services and supplies; and FSC Group 49, maintenance and repair shop equipment, automotive and cleaning equipment with related environmental equipment.

Cold Jet's dry ice blasting systems are used for a variety of cleaning and restoration applications, including general maintenance, mold remediation, manufacturing environments, aerospace and power generation projects and historical landmarks. Cold Jet's dry ice production systems are fully automated and produce the highest density extruded dry ice available. Dry ice blast cleaning is non-abrasive, using recycled CO2 in the form of dry ice pellets and particles accelerated by pressurized air to clean a surface. Upon impact with the surface being cleaned, the dry ice sublimates -- returning to its gaseous state. Dry ice blasting is an environmentally responsible cleaning process that does not use chemicals or water, does not leave any secondary waste, and is widely used in EPA, FDA and USDA inspected facilities across the country.

"Our dry ice blasting technology is being used around the world by government contractors that are responsible for cleaning everything from nuclear waste sites to power plants," said Brian Allen, vice president of sales for Cold Jet, LLC. "A GSA Schedule contract will simplify the purchase process of our technology and help to further expand our reach and sales opportunities into a broad range of government agencies that can benefit from our fast, efficient and environmentally responsible cleaning systems."
