IT - NASDAQ OMX Network Update (84/09)

As previously communicated, NASDAQ OMX has entered into an agreement with
Verizon Business to provide improved connectivity for our exchange clients.
Verizon Business has built a new, enhanced customer access network for clients
who connect to NASDAQ OMX Nordic systems, referred to as The Verizon Financial
Network (VFN). Verizon Business is also taking responsibility to migrate the
current One Access network to the new VFN architecture. This migration is
either an upgrade of your current setup, or a new replacement of your
connectivity, depending on your current capacity.

To continue receiving the support you currently have, NASDAQ OMX customers are
encouraged to enter into a service agreement directly with Verizon Business.

As a final phase in the decommissioning and shutdown process of the One-Access
network, NASDAQ OMX is working with Verizon Business to provision replacement
circuits and equipment for members who have not already placed orders directly
with Verizon Business, or has not informed NASDAQ OMX that they chosen another
network provider of their choice.

NASDAQ OMX will finalize and submit these orders to Verizon Business on the
member's behalf by October 30, 2009, to ensure that enough time is available
for the circuit installation to be completed, test time provided to the member,
and the cutover to VFN complete before the final turn-down date of the
One-Access network in February 2010. If you have questions regarding this
process, or need to update your technical or other point-of-contact
information, please contact your Technical Account Manager immediately. A
notice from (either NASDAQ OMX or Verizon Business) will be sent to each
member's point of contact when the circuits and equipment are ordered, and
Verizon Business will engage each member directly to schedule a date to
complete the site survey and subsequent installations and cutover. The circuit
bandwidth will duplicate the member's existing One-Access connectivity.

Members that do not respond regarding VFN novation plans before October 31st
will automatically be provisioned. NASDAQ OMX will work with each member to
determine new cost information. Members that order VFN directly from Verizon
will receive similar services but will receive discounts from Verizon.

As previously communicated, when signing the agreement with Verizon, you will
get a technical access (port) fee holiday for the remainder of 2009.

If you have not been contacted by Verizon, please contact your Technical
Account Manager for further help with the progress.
