ALISO VIEJO, CA--(Marketwire - October 7, 2009) - In an effort to keep shareholders and the public informed, WiFi Wireless, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: WFWL) (the company) wishes to disclose the following information.

The Board of Directors has determined that it would be in the best interest of the company not to seek a patent on the software of the cargo container monitoring device and, instead, keep the IP a trade secret. It is felt that this strategy will create the most value for the company, and will allow the company to move forward with its business plan.

In addition, Lynn Peterson, President of WiFi Wireless, Inc., stated, "For the past several months, 'WiFi' has been exploring a number of options that would expedite the monetizing of our technology, and create the most value for the shareholders. The Board of Directors concluded that there may be a substantial benefit to be realized by entering into a joint venture or strategic alliance with one or more industry players, and to pursue in earnest, proposals from parties with the capabilities to deploy our technology on a global scale."
