BASKING RIDGE, NJ--(Marketwire - October 7, 2009) - Avaya today announced it has appointed Anthony Massetti senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Massetti joins Avaya from NCR Corporation where he was senior vice president and chief financial officer. He was responsible for a broad portfolio of financial functions, as well as all information technology and real estate operations.

Prior to joining NCR, Massetti was CFO for QLogic Corporation and served as vice president, Finance for SanDisk Corporation. During his career with IBM Corporation, Massetti held positions of increasing responsibility within the company's finance organization, including CFO for IBM businesses in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
