EnergySolutions to Provide Nuclear Engineering Services to Vigil Enterprises, Inc for Architecture and Engineering Services to Los Alamos National Security, LLC


SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwire - October 8, 2009) - EnergySolutions, Inc. (NYSE: ES) announced today that it will provide nuclear engineering services to Vigil Enterprises, Inc, an 8A New Mexico based small business that has been awarded an IDIQ Architecture and Engineering contract from Los Alamos National Security, LLC.

The EnergySolutions and Vigil Enterprises team were among 41 firms that competed for this contract. The subcontracts, which run five years, call for the companies to provide design engineering capabilities to Los Alamos National Security, LLC. Work on the project will begin FY2010.
