LegalZoom's "What's Your Story?" Video Contest Puts Customers in the National Spotlight
LegalZoom Customers Could Win $5,000 and Be Featured in a National TV Commercial
| Source: LegalZoom
LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - October 9, 2009) - Since LegalZoom.com launched in 2001, more
than one million customers have discovered a more convenient and affordable
way to take care of common legal needs like wills, living trusts, name changes,
copyrights, trademarks, patents,
and business incorporations (including LLC formation). If you're one of
LegalZoom's customers, your personal story just may win you some cash and
some valuable national media exposure.
Now through November 20, 2009, LegalZoom invites customers to submit a
video sharing their personal story and how LegalZoom helped them in the
process. Did you take that first step towards financial independence by
starting a business and forming a Corporation? Did you finally create a
Last Will and trust to protect your family? Did you change your name and
become a pop star? Customers who used any LegalZoom product or service on
or before August 20, 2009 can enter. Videos will be posted to a special
page, and visitors can vote for their favorite entries. One grand prize
winner and two runners-up will be announced on December 20, 2009 and will
receive cash prizes up to $5,000 plus a chance to be featured in
LegalZoom's next TV commercial.

"The Internet is a great tool for building communities, and connecting with
people who are on a path similar to yours," said Brian Liu, co-founder and
chairman of LegalZoom. "We hope people will have fun creating their entries
and sharing their stories with others."
This isn't the first time LegalZoom has called upon customers to share
their stories. Janet Long used her mother's secret toffee recipe to launch
Elaine's Toffee Company and turned to LegalZoom to form her business.
Long's story was featured in LegalZoom's national ad campaign, which has
received 1.4 billion impressions on national TV, plus additional media
coverage. Thanks to a winning business model, and the national coverage
she received through LegalZoom's ad campaign, Janet is enjoying strong
sales and national product distribution.
LegalZoom's "What's Your Story?" contest is a chance for entrepreneurs to
win prizes and national exposure through LegalZoom -- simply by submitting
online to www.legalzoom.com/contest/.
