PEARL RIVER, NY--(Marketwire - October 21, 2009) - Dan J. Newsome has joined U.S. RE Corporation, the international brokerage subsidiary of U.S. RE Companies, Inc., as Senior Vice President, Tal P. Piccione, Chairman and CEO, announced.

Newsome brings more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of reinsurance to his new assignment. He served six years at Aon RE, Inc. as Vice President-New Business Development and 13 years at American Reinsurance Company where he held various management responsibilities. Earlier, Newsome was Vice President of Intere Intermediaries, Inc. and Home Reinsurance Company.
