IRVING, TX--(Marketwire - October 21, 2009) - AAA Texas/New Mexico has added Skype web phone
capability as a resource to communicate with media in various markets
throughout Texas and New Mexico.
Skype will allow media in both states to access immediate broadcast quality
interviews whether gathering updated automotive information or news from
gasoline reports AAA Texas/New Mexico releases on a weekly basis.
"We often get calls from markets outside of the Houston, Austin, Dallas and
Albuquerque metropolitan areas, and our only resource was providing a phone
interview and graphic," said AAA Texas/AAA New Mexico Corporate
Communications Manager Dan Ronan. "We want to let the reporters in these
important media markets know AAA is available and would like to accommodate
their requests for on-camera interviews through Skype."
Stations seeking to use Skype will need to have the free software installed
on their computers to access the AAA Texas/New Mexico webcams. Both public
